Dr Ajay Kumar

Dr. Ajay Kumar is a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician. He holds the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and completed his basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital and advanced training at Gosford, Woy Woy, and Wyong Hospitals.

Dr. Kumar has expertise in managing complex medical conditions in the elderly, including conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments, polypharmacy, diagnosis and management of dementia, osteoporosis, frailty, fall prevention, and addressing social and emotional issues impacting older adults. Dr Kumar provides care in the form of extending his expertise by managing patients in residential aged care facilities.

Dr. Kumar goes above and beyond in treating his patients with kindness and care as well as empowering the communities he is part of as his main initiative as a geriatric specialist. Dr. Kumar has an acumen to effectively communicate with his patients as demonstrated through his ability to fluently converse in Hindi, Punjabi and English.
