About
Dr Khalessi obtained his medical degree at New Zealand’s University of Otago. He completed his residency and surgical training in Sydney and was awarded fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery. His post-fellowship training in Upper Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, which spanned over three years, was through Bankstown, Royal Prince Alfred and Prince of Wales Hospitals in Sydney. He is a Graduate Member of the Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic & Biliary Association.
