Dr Femi Afolayan

Femi is a General Physician who completed most of his fellowship training in Melbourne and Barwon Health. Femi completed a Masters degree in perioperative medicine at Monash University and obtained a Clinical Diploma in palliative care medicine from the Royal Australian College of Physicians.

Femi is particularly interested in Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments that includes geriatric domains such as cognitive health, frailty, falls, polypharmacy etc.
He also provides perioperative clinical assessments and manages patients with multiple and complex needs.

Femi is contracted to Goulburn Valley Health as a consultant physician and geriatrician and is credentialled at Shepparton Private Hospital. Femi also holds a clinical lecturer position at the University of Melbourne and is actively engaged with teaching medical students.
