About
Dr Jasan Dannaway is an orthopaedic surgeon providing care for a range of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions.
He began his career as a physiotherapist, working across hospital, private practice and sporting environments before studying medicine. Dr Dannaway completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney with first class honours, followed by orthopaedic training through the NSW training network and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has completed additional training in the treatment of complex upper limb conditions through fellowships at Southmead Hospital in Bristol and Bristol Royal Infirmary (UK).
Dr Dannaway recognises the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and understands that the collective expertise of a multidisciplinary team yields optimal patient outcomes. His background in physiotherapy, helps him to consider both surgical and non-surgical pathways, allowing treatment plans to be tailored to the individual.
