Peninsula Private Hospital would like to introduce, Dr Jess Wade, Gynaecologist, who is committed to ensuring her patients feel supported, empowered and heard throughout their healthcare journey.
Jess has completed her fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic surgery with the Australasian Gynaecology Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) at Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ballarat and Ballarat IVF, building on her broad expertise in gynaecology and fertility care. She has completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, Sunshine Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ballarat.
Her clinical interests include general gynaecology, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, fertility, prolapse, incontinence and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening tests. Jess has a particular passion for minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery), with a focus on the surgical management of endometriosis.
Teaching and mentoring are also important aspects of Jess’ practice. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with medical students and junior doctors, helping to grow the next generation of women’s health specialists.
Jess also has a public appointment at Peninsula University Hospital, Frankston.
