About
Dr Matthew Farag is an Australian-trained urological surgeon with experience across St Vincent’s public, The Alfred, Western Health, Monash Health and Peninsula Health. He holds a PhD in urological research and remains active in clinical studies to advance patient care.
His main interests include robotic and minimally invasive surgery, urological oncology, prostate disease, complex kidney stone disease, and urological prosthetics.
Dr Farag is committed to patient-centred care, combining the latest surgical techniques with clear communication and a focus on quality of life. He works closely with GPs to ensure timely, collaborative management for both common and complex urological conditions.
