Vij operates at Glengarry Private Hospital and has a public list at Perth Childrens Hospital. He consults from his rooms in Duncraig

Background & Training:

Vij completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1995, graduating with degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

After a further 10 years of post graduate training through Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and Princess Margaret Hospital – including 5 years of comprehensive specialist training, Vij became a Specialist Plastic Surgeon in 2005 when he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He undertook post-fellowship subspecialty training in cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and paediatric reconstructive surgery at several internationally renowned institutions in Melbourne, Australia and Toronto, Canada before returning to Perth in 2007 to join the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre.

Vij is also a Consultant Specialist Plastic Surgeon, including cleft lip and palate surgery, at Perth Children’s Hospital.
